mlvolRaidType

Module: IOMMIB

OID (symbolic): IOMMIB::mlvolRaidType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.795.12.2.9.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The RAID type of this mlvolumeSet.

What is mlvolRaidType?

This enumerated integer identifies the RAID level of the multilevel volume set: unknown(1), raid10(2), or raid50(3). Admins use it to confirm the redundancy scheme protecting a given nested volume, which determines how many simultaneous disk failures it can tolerate. Seeing raid50(3) confirms the volume stripes data across multiple RAID-5 groups for combined performance and fault tolerance.
