l3tcRevertToDefaults
Module: INTEL-L3TC-MIB
OID (symbolic): INTEL-L3TC-MIB::l3tcRevertToDefaults
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.37.5.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This is a bit mask setting selected parts of the configuration to factory defaults.
value & 1: causes all front ports to revert to normal mode. All servers referring to a leaving-server-mode frontport are deleted too and all static sites reffering to deleted servers are deleted too.
value & 2: removes all servers and all static sites
value & 4: removes all TCP-protocols
value & 8: removes all static sites
value & 16: sets polling interval to 30 seconds and switches off the entire transparent caching facility
As an example setting this attribute to the value 31 completely restores factory defaults.
What is l3tcRevertToDefaults?
This read-write value is a bit-mask control object where each bit resets a different part of the L3TC configuration to factory defaults, such as reverting front ports to normal mode (bit 1) or removing all cache servers and static sites (bit 2). An admin uses this to selectively or completely wipe transparent-caching configuration without manually deleting every table entry one by one. Setting this attribute to 31, the sum of all bit values, completely restores the appliance's transparent caching configuration to factory defaults.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.37.5.3 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-L3TC-MIB::l3tcRevertToDefaults
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.37.5.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-L3TC-MIB::l3tcRevertToDefaults.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.37.5.3.1 i <value>
