dhcpsConfData

Module: INTEL-DHCPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): INTEL-DHCPS-MIB::dhcpsConfData

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.7.2.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Description: The data. All numbers are big-endian. KBE.1 is of type noTable and has the following layout: UINT32 lease_time; BYTE domain_name[27]; BYTE limit_lease; UINT32 primary_dns; UINT32 secondary_dns; UINT32 primary_wins; UINT32 secondary_wins; BYTE node_type; BYTE server_enabled; UINT16 max_entries; KBE.2 is of type tableIndexSize0 and has the following layout: UINT32 start_addr; UINT32 stop_addr; UINT32 mask;

What is dhcpsConfData?

This object holds the raw configuration data, up to 255 bytes, for a parameter block entry, laid out in big-endian binary structures documented per block type — for example KBE.1 packs lease time, domain name, DNS/WINS server addresses, and node type, while KBE.2 packs a start address, stop address, and subnet mask for an address pool range. An admin or management tool reads and writes this raw byte structure to view or change low-level DHCP server settings like lease time or the address pool range. For example, writing a new start_addr, stop_addr, and mask into the KBE.2-typed entry reconfigures the DHCP server's assignable address range.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.7.2.2.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-DHCPS-MIB::dhcpsConfData

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.7.2.2.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-DHCPS-MIB::dhcpsConfData.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.7.2.2.1.4.1 s <value>
