What is csuAISDefects?
This counts the number of AIS (Alarm Indication Signal) defects detected. AIS is the "all-ones" keep-alive signal sent by upstream equipment during a fault, so a rising count here indicates problems further upstream in the carrier's network rather than on this local segment.
