ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpAdminRequestList

Module: IEEE8021-TSN-REMOTE-MANAGEMENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE8021-TSN-REMOTE-MANAGEMENT-MIB::ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpAdminRequestList

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.32.1.4.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: This attribute is used to provide the administrative value of the current list of MAD requests for the MRP Participant (operRequestList). Each entry in this attribute is encoded as the attribute_type parameter as a single octet, followed by the length of the attribute_value parameter as a single octet, followed by a sequence of octets for the attribute_value parameter. When the ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpExternalControl attribute is true(1), this attribute is copied to the ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpOperRequestList attribute as soon as possible according to the implementation. When the ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpExternalControl attribute is false(2), this attribute is ignored by the MRP Participant, but it retains its value.

What is ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpAdminRequestList?

This read-only octet string holds the administratively requested list of MRP attribute declarations, encoded as type, length, and value entries, that an external controller wants applied on this port. When external control is enabled, the device copies this list into the operational request list as soon as possible; when disabled, the value is retained but ignored by the port's MRP participant. For example, a controller populates ieee8021TsnRemoteMgmtMrpAdminRequestList with an encoded MSRP Talker Advertise declaration, and once external control is active on that port, the device applies it by copying it into the operational request list.
