Identifies the CFM Maintenance Association acting as the protection (backup) entity for this Interconnection Protection Group; it must reference a valid dot1agCfmStackMaIndex entry before activation and can't be changed while the row is active. An admin sets this to bind the IPG's backup path so traffic can fail over if the working path degrades.
