ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllStaticPorts

Module: IEEE8021-Q-BRIDGE-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE8021-Q-BRIDGE-MIB::ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllStaticPorts

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.4.1.2.4.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: PortList

Access: read-write

Description: The set of ports configured by management in this VLAN to which all multicast group-addressed frames are to be forwarded. Ports entered in this list will also appear in the complete set shown by ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllPorts. This value will be restored after the device is reset. This only applies to ports that are members of the VLAN, defined by ieee8021QBridgeVlanCurrentEgressPorts. A port may not be added in this set if it is already a member of the set of ports in ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllForbiddenPorts. The default value is a string of ones of appropriate length, to indicate the standard behavior of using basic filtering services, i.e., forward all multicasts to all ports.

The value of this object MUST be retained across reinitializations of the management system.

What is ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllStaticPorts?

The set of ports an admin has statically configured to receive all multicast traffic on this VLAN regardless of any dynamic MMRP registration; defaults to all ports (forward-all-multicasts) and survives a reboot.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.4.1.2.4.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-Q-BRIDGE-MIB::ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllStaticPorts

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.4.1.2.4.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8021-Q-BRIDGE-MIB::ieee8021QBridgeForwardAllStaticPorts.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.4.1.2.4.1.3.1 s <value>
