ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeMs
Module: IEEE8021-FQTSS-MIB
OID (symbolic): IEEE8021-FQTSS-MIB::ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeMs
OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.16.1.1.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-only
Description: The most significant 32 bits of the bandwidth, in bits per second, that is currently allocated to the traffic class (idleSlope(N)). This object MUST be read at the same time as ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeLs, which represents the LS 32 bits of the value, in order for the read operation to succeed.
If SRP is supported and in operation, then the reserved bandwidth is determined by the operation of SRP; otherwise, the value of ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeMs is equal to the value of ieee8021FqtssAdminIdleSlopeMs.
The value of this object MUST be retained across reinitializations of the management system.
What is ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeMs?
This read-only value reports the most-significant 32 bits of the operational idleSlope bandwidth, in bits per second, currently allocated to a credit-based-shaper traffic class; it must be read together with ieee8021FqtssOperIdleSlopeLs to reconstruct the full 64-bit value, and it equals the administratively configured value unless SRP is active and determining bandwidth itself. Admins read it to see the actual bandwidth reservation currently in effect for a traffic class, as opposed to what was merely requested. For example, when SRP (Stream Reservation Protocol) is running, this operational value can differ from ieee8021FqtssAdminIdleSlopeMs because SRP is dynamically managing the actual reserved bandwidth.
