Description:
Next transaction identifier/sequence number to be sent in a Linktrace message. This sequence number can be zero because it wraps around.
What is dot1agCfmMepLtmNextSeqNumber?
This object contains the next sequence number that will be used in a Linktrace Message (LTM) sent by an MEP (Maintenance End Point) for connectivity fault management. The sequence number wraps around and can be zero, allowing transactions to be matched with their responses. An operator would monitor this value to track Linktrace probe activity and verify that the MEP is actively performing diagnostics on the Ethernet service.
