Description: Indicates the Address/Control Field compression that has been configured on the link. Receive-only(1) indicates that this node can receive compressed packets but won't send them. Send-only(2) indicates that this node will send compressed packets but can not receive them. Receive-and- send(3) indicates that the node will send and can receive compressed packets. None(4) indicates that this node will neither send nor receive compressed packets. See section 2.7, on page 13 of RFC 1172.
The IBM 6611 Network Processor always provides a value of none(4) for this object.
