Description: The ID number is the last 5 digits of the node_id. These 5 hexadecimal digits are administratively defined and combined with the 3 digit block number form the node_id. This node_id is used to identify the local node and is include in APPN alerts as well as being included in XIDs. A unique value is required for connections to SNA sub-area.
