Description: Indicates the top of the linear forwarding database. Packets received with unicast DLIDs greater than this value are discarded by the switch. A valid LinearFdbTop is less than LinearFdbCap. This component applies only to switches that implement linear forwarding tables and is ignored by switches that implement random forwarding tables. For the latter cases a 0 is returned.
What is ibSmaSwLinearFdbTop?
The top LID boundary of the switch's linear forwarding database; unicast packets destined above this LID are discarded. Only meaningful on switches using linear (not random) forwarding tables, which return 0 here otherwise.
