hwNvo3NveSourceAddress
Module: HUAWEI-NVO3-MIB
OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-NVO3-MIB::hwNvo3NveSourceAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.335.1.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-write
Description: The nve source address which is used as vxlan tunnel end point address
What is hwNvo3NveSourceAddress?
This read-write IP address holds the NVE's source address, used as the local VXLAN tunnel endpoint (VTEP) address for a specific NVE interface. Administrators configure it so VXLAN traffic originating from this network-virtualization edge is sourced from a known, routable address that peer NVEs can send return traffic to, since an incorrect value breaks tunnel establishment. For example, setting hwNvo3NveSourceAddress to 10.0.0.1 on a leaf switch's NVE interface tells the switch to use 10.0.0.1 as the VTEP source when encapsulating VXLAN frames toward remote peers.
