Description: Huawei NAT end-user data management MIB for collecting subscriber-level NAT translation logs and usage statistics.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is HUAWEI-NAT-EUDM-MIB?
HUAWEI-NAT-EUDM-MIB is a Huawei MIB for NAT End-User Data Management on the Eudemon firewall/security product line, used to collect per-subscriber NAT translation logs and usage statistics, typically for regulatory, lawful-intercept, or capacity-planning purposes. It exposes statistics data such as per-user NAT session/translation volume alongside logging configuration. Its monitoring value is software/service status: the volume of NAT translations logged per subscriber and the health of the logging pipeline, which can reveal a subscriber approaching a NAT port-pool limit or a logging/export failure that would compromise compliance records. It functions as the per-subscriber logging companion to the base HUAWEI-NAT-MIB, which manages NAT rules and address pools. It is deployed on Huawei Eudemon firewalls/security gateways performing carrier-grade NAT (CGN) for ISP subscribers. Engineers can download the HUAWEI-NAT-EUDM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HUAWEI-NAT-EUDM-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Huawei Eudemon firewalls/security gateways
Monitoring Examples
No sample object names were provided for this module. Based on the module description, an administrator would monitor per-subscriber NAT translation log volume and port-allocation counters to detect a subscriber approaching the NAT port-pool limit, or notice a drop in logged translations that could indicate a failure in the logging/export pipeline.
What Can Be Monitored
- per-subscriber NAT translation log volume
- NAT port allocation per user
- logging/export pipeline status
- usage statistics per subscriber
