Description: The value of this object identifies the status of FRR: enable(1): enables FRR. disable(2): disables FRR. By default, FRR is disabled.
What is hwIsisFrrEnabled?
This turns IS-IS Fast Reroute (FRR) on or off for the process: enable(1) turns it on, disable(2) (the default) turns it off. Enabling FRR lets the router pre-compute a backup next-hop for each destination so traffic fails over in milliseconds instead of waiting for a full SPF recalculation.
