Description: The ID for this instance of the Integrated IS-IS protocol. This value is appended to each of the area addresses to form the Network Entity Titles. The derivation of a value for this object is implementation-specific. Some implementations may automatically assign values and not permit an SNMP write, while others may require the value to be set manually.

What is hwIsisConflictSystemID?

This is a trap variable carrying the IS-IS System ID that a conflict notification is about -- i.e. the System ID that this router detected is duplicated by another system in the same area. An admin uses it to identify which router needs its System ID reconfigured to resolve the clash.
