Description: This object indicates that the BFD status is bound to IS-IS Auto FRR. enable(1): indicates that BFD is bound to IS-IS Auto FRR. disable(2): indicates that BFD is not bound to IS-IS Auto FRR. By default, the BFD session status is not bound to IS-IS Auto FRR.
What is hwIsisCircBfdFrrBinding?
This binds BFD session status to IS-IS Auto Fast Reroute (FRR) on the interface: enable(1) ties BFD to Auto FRR, disable(2) leaves them independent (the default). An admin enables this so a BFD-detected link failure can immediately trigger the pre-computed FRR backup path instead of waiting for IS-IS's own timers.
