What is hwMstpMD5KEY?
Sets the MD5 key (0-16 bytes) used to compute the region configuration digest that MSTP bridges exchange to confirm they share the same VLAN-to-instance mapping. Admins change this from the documented default (0x13AC06A62E47FD51F95D2BA243CD0346) so digests can't be spoofed by a device only guessing the well-known factory key.
