hpnicfSysSummerTimeZone

Module: HPN-ICF-SYS-MAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-SYS-MAN-MIB::hpnicfSysSummerTimeZone

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.3.1.1.2.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: This node describes the name of time zone in summer. The string is only used to display in local time when summer time is running. That the value of hpnicfSysLocalClock has the time zone information means that summer time is running.

What is hpnicfSysSummerTimeZone?

Sets the display name for the time zone used while summer time is in effect; it's purely cosmetic, shown as part of hpnicfSysLocalClock's timezone info whenever summer time is running. An admin operating switches across regions with different DST-label conventions might set this to something recognizable like 'PDT' for clarity in logs.
