hpnicfNqaStatResRttSum

Module: HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaStatResRttSum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.3.1.11.1.21

Description: This object contains the sum of the squares for all NQA responses received during the test lifetime. The value of this object MUST be reported as 0 when no NQA responses have been received.

What is hpnicfNqaStatResRttSum?

The running sum of round-trip times recorded during this statistics cycle, used with hpnicfNqaStatResSentProbes/ProbeResponses to derive the cycle's average RTT. NOTE: the source MIB's DESCRIPTION text for this object literally reads 'the sum of the squares for all NQA responses received', which is the wording for the separate hpnicfNqaStatResRttSumOfSquares object and appears to be a copy-paste error; this explanation instead follows the object's own name and matches its non-cyclic sibling hpnicfNqaResultsRttSum, which correctly describes 'the sum of round trip time'.
