hpnicfNqaProbeFailure

Module: HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaProbeFailure

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.3.3.3

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

The over threshold situations is specified as below. 1. When the probe test accumulatively failed for a number of times specified in hpnicfNqaReactThresholdAccumNum in one test while the value of hpnicfNqaReactThresholdType is 'accumulative'. 2. When the probe test consecutively failed for a number of times specified in hpnicfNqaReactThresholdConsecNum in one test while the value of hpnicfNqaReactThresholdType is 'consecutive'.

This notification is valid only when hpnicfNqaReactActionType is 'trapOnly' or 'trapAndTrigger' and pingCtlType of the test is not hpnicfNqajitter.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaProbeFailure
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.3.3.3

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:61697->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (390811905) 45 days, 5:35:19.05
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaProbeFailure
