hpnicfNqaJitterDSOverThreshold
Module: HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB
OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaJitterDSOverThreshold
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.3.3.6
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description: The DS means the jitter values from destination to source.
It is generated when the value of hpnicfNqaReactCurrentStatus changes. The change may occur when the watched condition is over threshold or below threshold.
The over threshold situations is specified as below. 1. The average of DS in one jitter test is not in the range hpnicfNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hpnicfNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit and the hpnicfNqaReactThresholdType is specified as 'average' type. 2. The average of DS in one jitter test is accumulatively not in the range hpnicfNqaReactThresholdLowerLimit through hpnicfNqaReactThresholdUpperLimit for a number of times specified in hpnicfNqaReactThresholdAccumNum and the hpnicfNqaReactThresholdType is specified as 'accumulative' type.
This notification is valid only when hpnicfNqaReactActionType is 'trapOnly' or 'trapAndTrigger' and pingCtlType of the test is hpnicfNqajitter.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaJitterDSOverThreshold snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.3.3.6
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:50574->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (34102158) 3 days, 22:43:41.58 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaJitterDSOverThreshold
Start monitoring HP Networking (H3C-derived) equipment (NQA synthetic-test probes) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Create custom SNMP monitor using the HPN-ICF-NQA-MIB::hpnicfNqaJitterDSOverThreshold OID value, configure state conditions and alerts, and monitor any HP Networking (H3C-derived) equipment (NQA synthetic-test probes) from a single console.
