hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold

Module: HPN-ICF-ENTITY-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-ENTITY-EXT-MIB::hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.6.1.1.1.1.31

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The recover threshold for the CPU usage. When the CPU usage falls down to the threshold, a notification is sent. The hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold must be less than or equal to the hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageThreshold.

What is hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold?

This read-write value sets the CPU usage percentage at which a prior CPU-overload condition is considered recovered and a recovery notification is sent for a physical entity, defaulting to 100 and required to stay at or below hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageThreshold. Admins set a lower recovery threshold than the trigger threshold to avoid rapid alarm/clear flapping around one value.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.6.1.1.1.1.31
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-ENTITY-EXT-MIB::hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.6.1.1.1.1.31.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-ENTITY-EXT-MIB::hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.6.1.1.1.1.31.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsageRecoverThreshold.1
