Module: HPICF-TR069-MIB
OID (symbolic): HPICF-TR069-MIB::hpicfTR069CpePasswordEncrypted

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description: An encrypted form of the client password. The value should be an encrypted password previously read from a compatible HP Networking device. This object can only be read or written when hpSwitchAuthenticationEncryptCredentialsMethod is set to a value other than 'none' and cannot be set at the same time as hpicfTR069CpePassword.
What is hpicfTR069CpePasswordEncrypted?
This value holds an encrypted form of the CPE (device-side) authentication password, usable only when hpSwitchAuthenticationEncryptCredentialsMethod is set to something other than 'none'. It lets an admin copy an already-encrypted CPE password between compatible HP Networking devices without exposing the plaintext value, and it cannot be set in the same operation as the plaintext hpicfTR069CpePassword. For example, an admin replicating TR-069 CPE credentials across a fleet of devices could transfer the encrypted value read from hpicfTR069CpePasswordEncrypted on one device directly into the same object on another.
