Description: This is the normal burst size that determines how large traffic bursts can be before some traffic exceeds the rate limit. This specifies the number of bytes that are guaranteed to be transported by the network at the average rate under normal conditions during committed time interval. This normal burst size is in bytes.
What is snVLanCARLimit?
This integer sets the normal burst size, in bytes, that this rate-limit entry allows traffic to burst to above the committed rate before some of it starts being marked as exceeding the limit. It works with snVLanCARRate to shape how tolerant the CAR entry is of short traffic spikes versus sustained over-rate traffic. An admin might set this to 100000 bytes to allow brief bursts from bursty applications without immediately penalizing them.
