Description: The Link Flapping Control sensitivity of a port. A value of low (1) indicates that the sensitivity of the link flap threshold is set to 10 link flaps per 10 second interval. A value of medium (2) indicates that the sensitivity of the link flap threshold is set to 6 link flaps per 10 second interval. A value of high (3) indicates that the sensitivity of the link flap threshold is set to 3 link flaps per 10 second interval.
What is hpicfFfLinkFlapControlSensitivity?
Sets how many link state transitions per 10-second window count as "flapping" for this port, low (10), medium (6), or high (3) flaps, or none to disable detection. A lower flap count needed to trigger (high sensitivity) catches flapping links faster but risks false positives on a link with occasional brief blips.
