This carries the source MAC address extracted from a bogus DHCP/BootP reply packet that DHCP Snooping detected and dropped, delivered as part of the hpicfDhcpSnoopErrantReply trap. Admins use it to identify which device (by MAC) sent the unauthorized reply, e.g. tracing it back to a rogue DHCP server plugged into an access port.
