hmIOModConfigDigOutputSnmpTrap
Module: HMIOMODULE-SNMP-MIB
OID (symbolic): HMIOMODULE-SNMP-MIB::hmIOModConfigDigOutputSnmpTrap
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.248.14.1.13.1.3.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: HmEnabledStatus
Access: read-write
Description: Trigger an SNMP trap log when output status changes. If the value is disable (2), no SNMP trap will be sent. If the value is enable (1), a SNMP trap will be sent when the output state changes. The SNMP trap will be sent to all receivers configured in hmAgentSnmpTrapReceiverConfigTable. The output state will be checked acording to the refresh interval entered in hmIOModConfigDigOutputRefreshInterval.
What is hmIOModConfigDigOutputSnmpTrap?
This object controls whether the device sends an SNMP trap to all configured trap receivers whenever this specific digital output's state changes, checked according to the configured output refresh interval. Admins enable(1) this so a management station is notified in real time when an output's state changes, for example after mirroring a remote input. For example, enabling hmIOModConfigDigOutputSnmpTrap ensures an alert fires immediately if an output driven by a remote input source drops from high to low.
