Description: The retry count for the output values. when after the number of configured retries no SNMP get request was answered, the output value (hmIOModOutputValue) will be set to invalid (3). Minimum 1, Maximum 10.

What is hmIOModConfigDigOutputRetryCount?

This object sets how many times the device retries an SNMP get request when polling a mirrored input source for an output value, before giving up and marking the output as invalid(3), ranging from 1 to 10 with a default of 3. Admins tune this to control how tolerant the system is of transient network or polling failures before flagging an output as unreliable. For example, raising this to 5 gives the device more attempts to reach a flaky remote input source before it marks the corresponding output value invalid.
