Module: HMIOMODULE-SNMP-MIB

Description: Trigger an event log when input status changes. If the value is disable (2), no event log entry will be written. The input state will be checked acording to the refresh interval entered in hmIOModConfigDigInputRefreshInterval.

What is hmIOModConfigDigInputLogEvent?

This object controls whether the device writes an event log entry whenever this specific digital input's state changes, checked according to the configured input refresh interval. Admins enable(1) this to keep an audit trail of input transitions for a particular input, or leave it disabled(2) to suppress logging for inputs that don't need tracking. For example, enabling hmIOModConfigDigInputLogEvent on a door-sensor input ensures every open/close transition gets recorded in the event log.
