The ring state can only be detected by the MRM. open(1) indicates that the ring is open. closed(2) indicates that the ring is closed. undefined(3) indicates an undefined ring state or is read if hm2MrpRoleOperState indicates the value client.
What is hm2MrpRingOperState?
Shows the ring's actual physical state as seen by the manager: open (broken somewhere), closed (intact), or undefined (only meaningful on the manager; clients always read undefined). This is the primary health indicator for the ring.
