hh3cStackConfigMemberID

Module: HH3C-STACK-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-STACK-MIB::hh3cStackConfigMemberID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.91.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The configured member ID of the device. The valid value ranges from 1 to the value of hh3cStackMaxMember. After the member ID is configured for a device, if this ID is not the same with that of another device, the ID will be used as the member ID of the device when the device reboots. If a same ID exists, the member ID of the device will be set as another exclusive ID automatically.

What is hh3cStackConfigMemberID?

This sets the member ID that will be applied to this device the next time it reboots, valid from 1 up to hh3cStackMaxMember. An admin configures this to assign a predictable, persistent identity to a stack member, though the system will automatically assign a different exclusive ID if the configured one conflicts with another device's. For example, an admin standardizing member numbering across a stack might configure this to 2 for a specific switch so it always reboots as member 2.
