Description: The function for automatically updating the image from master to slave. When a new device tries to join a stack, the image version is checked. When this function is enabled, if the image version of the new device is different from that of the master, the image of the new device will be updated to be consistent with that of the master. When this function is disabled, the new device can not join the stack if the image version of the new device is different from that of the master.

disabled: disable auto update function enabled: enable auto update function

What is hh3cStackAutoUpdate?

This controls whether a new device joining the stack automatically has its software image updated to match the stack master's version. An admin enables this so mismatched devices can still join and be brought in sync automatically, while disabling it blocks any device with a different image version from joining at all. For example, an admin adding a switch running an older firmware image to an existing stack would want this enabled so the new device auto-updates instead of being rejected.
