This object holds the remote IP address associated with the raw session, but what it means depends on the session type: for a udp session it's the peer's address, for tcpClient it's the server the device connects out to, and for tcpServer it's meaningless and reads as 0. An admin configuring a tcpClient session sets this to the IP of the central collection server the RS485 data should be streamed to. Leaving it at its default in tcpServer mode is expected, since the device is listening rather than dialing out.
