This carries the actual IP address of the policy-routing nexthop involved in the trap event, whose format is determined by the paired hh3cPBRNexthopAddrType field. An admin reviewing PBR-related alerts uses this address to identify exactly which nexthop router became unreachable or changed state, directing troubleshooting toward that specific path. A trap might carry the address 192.0.2.1 here, telling the admin that specific nexthop used by a policy route has changed status.
