What Is HH3C-IP-BROADCAST-MIB?
HH3C-IP-BROADCAST-MIB is a small H3C proprietary MIB toggling IP broadcast forwarding/reception behavior. Its two objects control whether the device forwards received directed broadcasts and whether it accepts broadcast packets on an interface. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm broadcast-forwarding behavior before troubleshooting a broadcast-storm or smurf-style amplification concern. It is deployed on H3C routers/switches. Engineers can download the HH3C-IP-BROADCAST-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
