This enumerated value (source, destination, or both, defaulting to destination) specifies which IP address field - source, destination, or both - BGP Policy Accounting relies on to classify traffic for a given accounting entry. An admin configures it depending on whether they want to track traffic by where it's coming from, going to, or both. For example, an ISP tracking outbound traffic by customer destination would leave this at the default destination(2) setting.
