hdsl2ShdslEndpointThreshCRCanomalies

Module: HDSL2-SHDSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): HDSL2-SHDSL-LINE-MIB::hdsl2ShdslEndpointThreshCRCanomalies

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.48.1.11.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-create

Description:

This object configures the threshold for the number of CRC anomalies within any given 15-minute performance data collection interval. If the value of CRC anomalies in a particular 15-minute collection interval reaches/exceeds this value, an hdsl2ShdslPerfCRCanomaliesThresh MAY be generated. At most, one notification will be sent per interval per endpoint.

What is hdsl2ShdslEndpointThreshCRCanomalies?

This configurable threshold holds an integer representing the maximum allowed CRC errors in a 15-minute interval before an alarm is generated on an HDSL2 line endpoint. It defines the sensitivity for detecting line quality degradation. An operator would set this higher on noisy lines and lower on critical circuits to catch emerging problems early.
