What Is H3C-ARP-RATELIMIT-MIB?
H3C-ARP-RATELIMIT-MIB is a Hangzhou H3C Technologies proprietary MIB monitoring the ARP packet rate-limit feature, which caps the rate of ARP packets delivered to the CPU (current version supports monitoring only, not enforcement configuration). Its objects cover an overspeed-trap notification and trap version/count/message objects. As a notification/status MIB it lets an administrator get alerted when ARP packet arrival rate exceeds the monitored threshold, protecting CPU resources, on an H3C device. It is deployed on H3C (Hangzhou) networking equipment (ARP rate-limit monitoring). Engineers can download the H3C-ARP-RATELIMIT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
