What is gwsmtpdMessagesIn?
This is a running count of messages received by the SMTP daemon itself, distinct from the gateway-level gwsmtpStatMsgsIn counter which tracks the GroupWise side. Admins use this daemon-level counter to isolate whether an issue lies in the SMTP daemon versus the GroupWise-facing side of the gateway.
