Module: GSWB-MIB

OID (symbolic): GSWB-MIB::swIGMPInfoLeaveGroupCount

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.211.1.31.1.3.1.7.4.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This object indicates the send count of IGMP query messages, in per-VLAN basis. In case of IGMP timer expiration, the switch sends IGMP query packets to related VLAN member ports and increment this object by 1.

What is swIGMPInfoLeaveGroupCount?

swIGMPInfoLeaveGroupCount is a read-only Counter, indexed per VLAN, whose source DESCRIPTION text describes it as tracking the count of IGMP query messages sent each time the switch's IGMP timer expires, the same wording used for swIGMPInfoSpecificQueryCount, though the object's own name suggests it is meant to track leave-group messages instead. Admins would still use it alongside the other swIGMPInfo counters to gauge per-VLAN IGMP protocol traffic levels, treating the name as the more likely intent given the apparent copy-paste description. An admin seeing this counter stay flat next to a rising swIGMPInfoGeneralQueryCount might interpret it as few or no hosts sending IGMP leave messages on that VLAN.
