What is gmplsWavebandId?
This value identifies the waveband component of a waveband Generalized Label, valid only when gmplsLabelSubtype is wavebandLabel(6). An engineer provisioning an all-optical GMPLS path uses it to specify which waveband, a contiguous range of wavelengths switched as a unit, a circuit is assigned to. For example, a gmplsWavebandId identifying waveband 3 would indicate the optical switch should route the signal as part of that grouped wavelength band rather than a single lambda.
