Module: FASTPATH-SNTP-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): FASTPATH-SNTP-CLIENT-MIB::agentSntpClientServerRefClkId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.17.1.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Access: read-only

Description: This is the value of the Reference Identifier in the last received packet defined as follows. Reference Identifier: This is a 32-bit bitstring identifying the particular reference source. In the case of NTP Version 3 or Version 4 stratum-0 (unspecified) or stratum-1 (primary) servers, this is a four-character ASCII string, left justified and zero padded to 32 bits. In NTP Version 3 secondary servers, this is the 32-bit IPv4 address of the reference source. In NTP Version 4 secondary servers, this is the low order 32 bits of the latest transmit timestamp of the reference source.

What is agentSntpClientServerRefClkId?

The 4-byte Reference Identifier from the last received SNTP packet, which for stratum-0/1 servers is an ASCII clock-source code and for secondary servers is derived from the reference source's address or timestamp. Admins use it to identify what upstream time source the configured server is itself synced to.
