agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr

Module: FASTPATH-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB

OID (symbolic): FASTPATH-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB::agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.27.1.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InetAddressIPv4

Access: read-write

Description: The address of the Remote endpoint of the tunnel i.e. the destination address used in the outer IP header. It is 0.0.0.0 if the tunnel is unknown or IPv6 address, or not a point to point link

What is agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr?

This object holds the IPv4 address of the remote tunnel endpoint, used as the destination address in the outer IPv4 header; it reads 0.0.0.0 if the remote end is unknown, is an IPv6 address, or this isn't a point-to-point link. Admins configure it to point the tunnel at the far-end router's public IPv4 address. Setting agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr to 198.51.100.10 would direct encapsulated IPv6 traffic to that remote gateway.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.27.1.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB::agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.27.1.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB::agentTunnelRemoteIP4Addr.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.27.1.1.1.5.1 s <value>
