Description: The BSR hash mask length to be advertised in bootstrap messages if this interface is elected as the bootstrap router. This hash mask length will be used in the hash algorith for selecting the RP for a particular group.
What is agentMulticastPIMSMInterfaceCBSRHashMaskLength?
This now-obsolete field set the hash mask length this interface would advertise in bootstrap messages if it became the elected Bootstrap Router. It controlled the hash algorithm's granularity for RP-to-group selection under PIM-SM before being deprecated. For example, leaving it at the default 30 would have used a standard hash mask length for RP selection if this interface won the BSR election.
