Description: Enabling auto VLAN creation for this switch port causes the port to dynamically create a VLAN whenever an IEEE 802.1Q or Multi-level tagged frame is received on the port with a tag value which does not correspond to a known VLAN. All switch ports with a trunking mode of IEEE 802.1Q or Multi-level are bound to this created VLAN. The default is disable.

What is expressGSSwitchPortAutoVlanCreation?

When enabled, causes the switch to automatically create a new VLAN whenever this port receives an 802.1Q or Multi-level tagged frame with an unrecognized VLAN tag, and binds all similarly-trunked ports to it; disabled by default. An admin enables this cautiously in environments where new VLANs may appear dynamically from upstream equipment, since it can auto-provision VLANs without explicit administrative action.
