If the creation is successful, then the status will be set to active(3). Otherwise if the creation was not successful then one of the following error codes will be set and the entry will not be created: entryExistsError(4) - An entry already exists. otherError(5) - An error other than the others defined.

What is expressGS3ComMappingTableStatus?

Drives creation of this 3Com mapping table entry: createRequest(1) to create it, active(3) once successful, or an error code such as entryExistsError(4) if creation failed. An admin sets createRequest(1) when provisioning a new mapping table for interoperability with legacy 3Com VLAN tagging.
