This reports the outcome of the device's last software-image download attempt: inProgress(1), completeFromProvisioning(2) (upgraded via the provisioning config file), completeFromMgt(3) (upgraded via management action), or failed(4), typically due to a TFTP timeout. Admins check this after triggering or expecting a firmware upgrade to confirm it succeeded.
