This value reports the Arbitrated Loop Physical Address (ALPA) currently assigned to the H_Port identified in the same table row. An admin reads this when diagnosing Fibre Channel addressing conflicts or verifying that a device received the expected loop address after insertion. Two devices unexpectedly reporting the same ALPA would indicate a loop addressing conflict that needs a loop reset to resolve.
