This value reports the worldwide name (WWN) of the device currently acting as loop master on the Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop; it reads as all zeros if the loop master is unknown. An admin reads this to identify which device is coordinating loop initialization, useful when diagnosing why loop address assignment behaves unexpectedly. An all-zero value while devices are attached and the loop is supposedly up indicates the loop hasn't completed a successful initialization cycle.
